Well, I know that there are a lot of ways out there of building wealth, but I'm also aware that many of them are available only to highly-skilled and experienced pilots.
So I'm opening the floor to you, my readers and fellow players of Eve Online, who are probably vastly experienced in how to generate wealth.
What's the fastest and most effective way for a brand new character to build wealth?
Help me gain the most ISK I can possibly gain, in the shortest amount of time, and I'll document my experiences as I follow your instructions.
Just my $0.02, but for a noob, mining is the way to go. It's certainly not the fastest or best way to make ISK overall. But, for a new player, you can't go wrong mining. To mine WELL takes some skilling up, but I was putting mining lasers on a battleship at one point in my career, so I can attest that it's a worthwhile career choice in EVE.
ReplyDeleteI'd try station trading (with an alt on your account). Buy low, sell high. Start with small stuff (i.e. ammo) and go on, make your experience.
ReplyDelete- mining (mining frigate is very low skill ship)
ReplyDelete- planetary interaction (some skill required)
- production (no hints in here, but there are low production skills items that generate enough margin for it to be worthwile)
- trading - buy low/sell hi - fly from hub to hub. very risky once you get more than 100m isk in your hauler (you will get shot, even in hi sec, for a chance of geting your cargo)
@Mark - I think mining and manufacturing will be just one of my activities, but the focus might end up being with missions and trading, with some PI included in there.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous - why use an alt?
@Marcin - all of your suggestions are probably what I'll end up doing, along with missions
