Ninja looting in Jita

I saw some comments on a blog somewhere about making money, and someone said that if you hang out at the undock point of the most popular station in Jita, you'll be able to ninja loot the wrecks of all the exploding ships, earning 1-2 billion a day.

Naturally I was intrigued, so I thought I'd test this.

I took a break from missions and I spent a few days hanging out with everyone else who seemed to have the same idea.

Yes, ships exploded, as people seemed to engage self destruct or sometimes have fights. Sometimes there was even the occasional pirate undocking in their new ship only to realise they forgot they were in highsec.

After about 4 days I'd only picked up one thing that earned me 800,000 ISK. It wasn't worth my time, so I've made my way back to where I'll continue doing the career missions.

It was an interesting experiment though.
